Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

CE - IEG Portal 'control-question-informational message' customization

At Clark County, we're looking for a hook point from CE to customize the control question informational message for the 'Additional Household Member' page.

As we don't have a hook point, and to address the customer needs, we have non-compliantly customized the "ApplicationForm" component from the OOTB package in the location "\universal-access-ui\src\features\Forms\ApplicationForm" and added a piece of JS Code to the "ApplicationFormContainer.js" file.

Attached 2 PNG files before and after the change.

Customer Name Clark County
Market Segment WH Government
Type of Request Customer Requirement
Market Opportunity

Providing a hook point will allow the clients to modify the text messages according to the end user's expectations.

    Hi Chandra,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion.

Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:

    • You are looking for a hook point to enable you to compliantly customize the control question informational message that is displayed when adding additional household members in an application form

Our offering currently provides an alternative way to address this request. A new feature called ‘Quick Add List’ was added in v5.3.0 of the responsive web application. It provides a more intuitive and easier way for entering household member information, and if used would negate the need for an informational message at all. It avoids asking how many members are in the household upfront and instead allows users to add, edit or remove household members within the IEG form itself (instead of having to do it only from the summary page).

For further information, see the what’s new section in the 5.3.1 UA Responsive Web Application guide - https://curam-spm-devops.github.io/wh-support-docs/pdf/CE/UniversalAccess_5_3_1.pdf

Also please refer to the enablement material which accompanied the Curam 8.0.3 release which includes information about the ‘Quick Add List’ feature. This is available here - https://curam-spm-devops.github.io/wh-support-docs/pdf/enablement/Citizen-Engagement-803.pdf

Please review this information and see if it will address your needs. If you believe we have misunderstood your request, please respond within 7 days with clarifications.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your suggestions.

    Regards,

Graham McCrindle, SPM Product Management Team
