Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Support for Push Notification CE functionality

Currently in CE, the only way to retrieve data from the backend/SPM is through two methods, both of which are not server-initiated:

  1. A user-initiated action, which will invoke a REST operation that returns data to the user.

  2. CE-side polling, whereby a REST operation is invoked in an interval to retrieve data from the backend/SPM.

There are instances where the above would not be ideal. Two scenarios come to mind:

  1. While an external user is working on their IEG form that was pre-populated with data from case evidence, a case worker has updated the evidence in SPM. This should trigger a push notification to the external user that data on the form has been updated, and the user should exit the form so that latest data from the case could be used in the form. Currently this is not possible.

  2. When an external user submits an application, the user account undergoes account linking that will enable additional functionality in CE (e.g., document upload/verification). Currently OOTB displays a 'Processing application' page during this processing, and the user must wait. Once the external user account is linked, the user is redirected to the application submission confirmation page, with new application header tabs enabled. However, the account linking process in the HCR process may take much longer than is acceptable. It would be better to enable a push notification feature that will notify the external user that their account has been linked, thereby allowing the user to continue with other steps in the process rather than being forced to wait.
