Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

CE needs to support IEG Summary Page Cluster to be collapsed on page load

Currently when IEG Summary page is loaded, all clusters are expanded and the user can manually collapse them.

State of MN requires certain clusters to load collapsed and later the user to be able to manually expand them if needed.

Customer Name State of Minnesota
Market Segment WH Government
Type of Request Customer Requirement
Market Opportunity

The market opportunity for this request is all citizens in the state of Minnesota, who have mobile devices and are submitting an application or renewing through their phone.

CURAM:Workarounds + Proposed Solution

Currently when the page is loaded on a mobile phone the content is too long and the client is requesting us to break down the summary page into more individual summary pages , which makes the script cumbersome and increases the chance f citizen abandoning applications.

    Hi Boris,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion.

Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:

    • You would like clusters on IEG summary pages to be collapsed by default when the page is loaded instead of expanded.

Our offering currently provides a way to address this issue. There is a "collapsed-expression" attribute that can be specified on clusters and lists to control whether they are collapsed or expanded by default. This attribute is applicable only to summary pages. The expression must be evaluated to define whether the list is collapsed or expanded in its initial state. If the expression evaluates to true, the list is initially collapsed. If the expression evaluates to false or if the collapsed-expression attribute is not specified, the list is initially expanded.

For further information see - https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/spm/8.0.2?topic=elements-cluster

We are closing this request and do not plan to take any further action. If you believe we have misunderstood your request, please respond within 7 days with clarifications.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your suggestions.

    Thank you,

Barbara Ridgway, SPM Product Management Team.
