Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Request for Button Color Scheme Simplification to Improve User Experience

Description taken from support case


Problem:
Inconsistencies in button colors are observed within modals across the application.

Example: When accessing the "New Shelter Expense Evidence" screen, three buttons appear in black when opened from the Evidence Dashboard. However, when accessed from the "New Evidence" Page action menu, the screen displays two blue buttons and one black button. Please see the attached document see more details and steps to reproduce.

Note: This inconsistency is not exclusive to the "New Shelter Expense" screen but is prevalent across various pages within the application.

 Impact:
Inconsistent button colors in the application confuse users and hinder the user experience, leading to frustration and navigation challenges. This, in turn, slows down user interactions and impacts overall efficiency.

    Hi Vahida,

     

    We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion.   

    Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows: 

    • Colours are not used consistently throughout the Cúram caseworker application

     

    We feel this is predominantly a defect, which we have an existing known issue to track but there is also a related enhancement on our roadmap, which you may be interested in.


    Please refer to known issues DT036795 which tracks issues where colours are inconsistent in Cúram caseworker application. https://merative.my.site.com/mysupport/s/defect/a5h8c000000gnlCAAQ/dt036795 We are delivering improvements across releases to remove inconsistencies in usage of colours on modals. More improvements were delivered in our recent release, version 8.1.3 on Nov 28th 2024 and further improvements planned for a future release. I would encourage you to review this issue in the latest Cúram release as I am confident you will experience a great improvement. We will continue to use known issue DT036795 to track any remaining inconsistencies in usage of colour on modals.


    We also have a related enhancement on our roadmap which is to make it easier for customers to customize the aspects of the User Interface that relate to Theming e.g. colours, fonts. This will, in a future release, allow customers to deviate from colours that Cúram choose out of the box to something preferable at your organisation; for example if you wanted to change from the current usage of blue on action buttons to some other colour your users would prefer.

    We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion and require more information to properly understand the issue. The ticket you created does not contain any description details.

    Perhaps you could provide additional details in relation to the Request for Button Color Scheme Simplification to Improve User Experience.

    Are there specific places in Cúram where you are suggestion this colour scheme simplification to apply?

    Please provide the requested information within 30 days so we may proceed with our evaluation. If we do not hear from you within that timeframe, we will have to close the request due to insufficient information.
