Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Linkin MS Word Enable Macro Issue

Linkin Users from multiple roles have reported, when creating a New or Editing a Communication Template, in an Ongoing case, Enable Macros is populating behind Linkin and the template does not load. Users are presented with a Linkin screen which appears frozen.

Our root problem is that we need our CuramDoc location changed so that we can add the new location to our trusted list so it will open without popups regarding macro approval. The Word Integration Assistant does not support the customization of the user data directory for Microsoft Edge.

We would like to be able to change the download location for the MS Word Files that are being created and edited by caseworkers.

CURAM:Workarounds + Proposed Solution

1) Users are minimizing all applications until they locate the enable Macros selection. Once a user selects Enable Macros, the communication template populates. If a user has multiple screens, they may need to minimize applications on both screens until they locate the Enable Macros behind applications.

2) Allow the Word Integration Assistant the ability to customize the user data directory for Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Please provide this functionality in the base Curam platform in the future.

    Hi Sara,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion. Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:

You are requesting the ability to be able to change the download location for the MS Word documents that are created and edited by caseworkers, so that you can change this to a location that can be added to your trusted list of locations to prevent macro pop-ups from being displayed.

We acknowledge the benefit of your suggested enhancement however this is not a feature we plan to add to our existing Word Integration functionality. Although we will not be addressing this item, we do have plans to investigate the implementation of enhanced Word Integration functionality that will no longer require MS Word documents to be stored on the user’s desktop when they are being created or edited.

Per discussions with Melissa Nelson, we will involve Saskatchewan as a sponsor user when we begin work on the new solution.

This request will be closed, and we will not be taking any further action.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. Although we cannot pursue all of the submitted suggestions, we are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your ideas.
