Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Product Delivery Case not Generating when All Members are Found Ineligible

Currently, OOTB Curam does not generate a Product Delivery Case when all members are found ineligible on an Integrated Case. The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) needs to be able to generate a Product Delivery Case whether a member is eligible or not to appease to CFR §435.914 The agency must include in each applicants case record facts to support the agency's decision on his application. There are three main reasons we may need to generate a Product Delivery Case when all members are found ineligible in a household.

A. There is no way to see how the system is calculating Household Size, Household Income, and FPL % when all members are found ineligible on a case in a Production environment.

B. If the user is relying on the system to make a correct eligibility decision, the user could assume that a member is not eligible when they truly qualify for coverage.

C. PERM (Payment Error Rate Measurement) relies on each state to report the Household Size, Household Income, and FPL % for each Test Case that is distributed. CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) includes Test Cases where all Household members are found ineligible. While this information can be retrieved later through a testing environment, there is no current way to retrieve this information in Curam in Production.

The reporting of ineligibility information is considered a valid enhancement and will be accomplished thru the Eligibility Viewer feature. This RFE is tied to #173965 which is considered a valid enhancement but does not yet have a corresponding release date.

We will close this particular RFE as the manner within which ineligibility information will be displayed will not be as described in this request, via a PDC, but rather via the Eligibility Viewer as described in #173965.

This requirement will not be met through the Eligibility Viewer enhancements being introduced in the Q4 2016 release. The IBM team will review the requirement to determine if there is another approach available to meet the request.

Thank you for your enhancement request. We are currently analysing the requirement and will provide another update when that analysis is complete to confirm whether or not the enhancement will be considered in a future functional release.
