Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Reissue Payment with Deduction should allow clients to exclude some of existing deductions and allow to choose new deductions

: In EDSC as part of Payment Cancellation, if the payment contains a deduction ILI that belong to certain third parties then those deduction amounts cannot be recovered using reversals from third party. So there is a Curam liability recorded against the client to whom this third party deduction ILI was for, is simple terms this deduction is non-reversible type and the money paid to third party system cannot be recovered and instead it will be recovered from Client’s future payments.

So as part of Cancellation process, we can create a Cuam liability for now with wrapper method. But when we re-issue there is no OOTB functionality using which we could create a new applied deduction but also exclude third party deduction from reissue.

This request to either:

 Enhance existing “Reissue Payment with Deduction” functionality which allows clients to choose which existing deductions can be excluded along with creating new deductions.

 Provide extension point in MaintainInstructionLineItem.regenerateILI() for clients so they can switch the third party deduction to an applied deduction and also make a bunch of methods in MaintainInstructionLineItem and MaintainDeductionItem class files as non-internal. If needed we can provide those list of methods that needs to be classified as non-internal

    Hi Benoit,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion. Based on the information provided and discussions with Lab Services staff, our understanding of your request is as follows:

    • You are requesting an enhancement that supports the ability to compliantly customize the Reissue Payment process to exclude existing deductions and instead include other deductions such as applied deductions in order to meet project specific requirements.

The theme is aligned with our current strategy for our product to continue to provide enhancements that enable compliant customization of financials processing and we have accepted your suggestion as a consideration for a future release.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your suggestions.

    Regards,

    Angela, SPM Product Management Team

    Hi Vinod,

Since this area is under IP restriction, the APIs in this area are all purposely internal. Therefore we will reach to work with you, to see if there's an alternative mechanism we can use to incorporate your requirements.

    Thank you,

Angela Brady, SPM Product Management team
