Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests
The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Hi Meagan,
We have evaluated your request and have determined that it cannot be implemented at this time as we believe that the mega menu is already highly customizable and this is therefore not something that we plan to address.
Your request may be resubmitted for consideration after 12 months from the date of decline.
Thank you for your interest in the Cúram product.

Thanks Meagan, we'll look into this and get back to you.
Here is another example of what is required - see separate options for FAQ and Get Help - no mega menu in sight. https://auth.mnsure.org/RIDP/?account_type=Individual
See example of where Alberta have made it a static icon: https://myalbertasupports.humanservices.alberta.ca/CitizenPortal/application.do#
I appreciate you can turn these on and off via configuration - the client is aware of that. That simply means they do or don't appear. In this case - the client does want the functionality just not in the way it is being offered - hence the enhancement. They want the mega menu options as a static icon options instead. So perhaps the enhancement is to be able to choose which way the options under the mega menu are displayed.
Hi Meagan, the menu can be customized as per your requirement. The UA Customization Guide states that the elements are optional:
banner-menu
There are three types of banner-menu supported in the application banner:
– mega - A mega main, which is the first menu displayed.
– person - The person menu, which usually displays the users name/welcome
message and options to logout.
– help - A menu of help/contact links. This is similar in style to the
mega-menu.
It is possible to have no banner-menu elements and the renderer will display
nothing in this case. In addition, a banner-menu can have no menu-items and
again the renderer will handle this. In other words, these elements are optional.
If this customization does not meet your requirements can you please explain in detail why not and also provide a clear description of the business impact this is having. Thanks.
The user problem is that they select the help icon - they don't want to be displayed yet another menu with options. A static menu would provide less clicks for the user. Mega menus are not standard behavior for websites.
Hi Meagan,
There is no user problem described in this RFE.
In order to evaluate your request, we require that you provide a detailed description of the user problem.
We also need to understand why this is a problem and what the business impact of this problem is.
If you believe the mega menu should be removed, we need to understand the reason behind this - what the problem is and what the impact is.
The more detail you provide, the better we can understand your requirement.
Thank you,
Eloise O'Riordan, Cúram SPM Offering Management team
