Shape the future of Curam!
We invite you to shape the future of Curam, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the Curam team to refine your idea
Help Curam prioritize your ideas and requests
The Curam team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Many customers have mentioned the need to allow citizens upload documents as part of the intake process.
This requirement comes up from time to time and hasn't prioritized it's way onto the road map due to concerns on the customer side about:
a) Cost of greater storage once we facilitate the uploading of artifacts of unknown size.
b) Opening another door for hackers to bring down the site by uploading large documents - denial of service attacks.
While we would hope that the agency is only considering allowing upload of documents from 'known' citizens, i.e. those that have linked accounts we have to accept that we will need to show that its possible 'anonymously'.
Within Citizen Account you can of course add a separate uim page and make use of the File Upload Widget delivered by the CDEJ. However, I'm not aware of its use in any externally facing application and would need to be taken on board with the caveats a) and b).

Hi Kevin,
We are happy to inform you that your enhancement request has been delivered in the new release of IBM Cúram Social Program Management, version 7.0.10.0.
The new Citizen Verification feature in the IBM Universal Access Responsive Web Application informs citizens when information that they provide to an organization needs to be verified with supporting documentation, based on the SPM Verification Engine configuration. Citizens can then upload the requested documentation through the Universal Access Responsive Web Application, within the guidelines set out by an agency. Citizens see a new Your Documents page, where they can see their verifications and upload documents.
The new feature was released in IBM Cúram Universal Access 2.7.0 and more information can be found in the What's New for this release: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS8S5A_7.0.10/com.ibm.curam.universalaccess.doc/CitizenEngagement/r_CEINST_UA_270_release_notes.html
We hope that this addition to the product will meet your requirements sufficiently.
I will now close this ticket as delivered.
Thank you for your interest in the Cúram product.
