Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Support for data purge and archive

Request for support of data purging and archiving requirements to include:

1. Archive inactive data that does not serve a purpose for normal operations but may need to be selectively restored to the system at a later date to support infrequent use cases such as a selective quality audit of the history of a set of cases.
2. Archiving of technical objects should include:
• audit logs,
• determination data
• process instances
• dependency data for cases that are archived before they are closed
• deferred processes,
• workflow, task, and alert
• case transaction logs and case events (independent of the surrounding case),
• precedent change set records
• CREOLE program recommendations
• wizard data
• in progress IEG applications which have been in progress for longer than a defined threshold (covering portal and caseworker and all associated meta-data)
• dynamic evidence type
3. Perform data purge where the item identified as needing to be purged was only present because of a system defect

    Hi,

We have re-evaluated your request and have determined that it cannot be implemented at this time as there are no longer any plans to implement the remaining requirements in this request which were going to be considered as add-ons to the 'Cúram Archiving' feature that was delivered in Cúram SPM V7:

    https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS8S5A_7.0.0/com.ibm.curam.content.doc/whats_new/Whats_new_features_700.html

    IBM Cúram Archiving
IBM Cúram Social Program Management provides the ability to archive historical data in its original business context, as well as to query and restore the data. IBM Cúram Archiving works with the IBM Infosphere Optim archiving tool to provide a set of Cúram templates for the archival of business and technical objects including tables and relationships, and selection criteria to identify all records that should be moved into an archiving environment.

The following Cúram templates are available:
    ProcessInstance
    CaseEvent
    CaseTransactionLog
    AuthenticationLog
    AuthorisationLog
    CREOLECaseDeterminationData
    CREOLEProgramRecommendation
    PrecedentChangeSet

Your request may be resubmitted for consideration after 12 months from the date of decline.

Thank you for your interest in the Cúram SPM product.
Shane McFadden, Cúram SPM Product Management team

    - request from Ontario on this enhancement:

We would request confirmation that this enhancement candidate contains "production" of the following

    Additional comments
Incorporation of the following Tech Notes in the product
    1) https://www-304.ibm.com/support/entdocview.wss?uid=swg21903631
    2) https://www-304.ibm.com/support/entdocview.wss?uid=swg21660499

    5) https://www-304.ibm.com/support/entdocview.wss?uid=swg21660498

Incorporation of the following which are not covered in Tech Notes

    1) Archiving of In Progress IEG applications which have been in
progress for longer than a defined threshold (covering portal and case
    worker and all associated meta-data)
    2) Archiving of Deferred Processes
    3) Archiving of Case Transaction Logs and Case Events independently of
    the surrounding case.

    Additional comments
If these are not suitable for the existing item on the roadmap for the item covered on the roadmap we would request a second enhancement and a second JIRA number.

It should be noted that in our terminology archiving (which is distinct from purging) necessitates the ability to restore the information to the production database. If this is not the terminology used for the existing item on the roadmap we would request another enhancement and second/third JIRA number.

    Additional comments
We also request the following which is not covered in a Tech Note a) WizardData
