Help Curam prioritize your ideas and requests
The Curam team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Curam supports decision task workflows where a user can select from a checkbox selection of actions/answers (or enter free format text).
These actions/answers are custom defined but unlike many other areas of the decision workflow, they do not support text substitution (i.e. they are embedded in the workflow itself). For example question text can be determined at creation time and substituted in allowing for more flexibility.
But the answer configuration does not support this.
Scottish Government have created a "generic" task workflow which is used by many areas of the application. Different tasks can use this workflow as substitution allows for this.
But for decision task workflows, SG are limited as every different answer configuration required would need it's own workflow rather than a single generic one, using substitution to specify the answers.
Customer Name | Scottish Government |
Persona Based Summary
As a SPM system user, I want to be able to use a single generic decision workflow to manage all the different business scenarios where this would be useful. |

Market Opportunity
Provides more flexibilty in the product and would be consistent with other areas of the workflow framework that supports substution. Less custom effort for the client and easy to "sell" it to existing and new clients. |
|
Usage frequency + #/type of users impacted
Tasks are used significantly in the SG solution but this decision workflow would be a great way of ensuring client advisors have performed required actions associated to the task. |

CURAM:Workarounds + Proposed Solution
Suggested to SG to identify generic answer configurations and implement these are workflows. But not ideal. |
