Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Curam platform - redesign product to make data currently stored as XML more accessible

It is hard to query and move into datawarehouse data stored in XML therefore we suggest to redesign product and make data easier to access.

In particular interested in easier access of this XML data:

1) Eligibility determination reports (CreoleCaseDetermination, CreoleCaseDecision, CreoleCaseDeterminationData and other tables)
Minimum Output:
- CaseID
- program type code
- results [code values representing: eligible/not eligible]
- date spans [as they are displayed on-line]
- household member id
- household member status [code values representing: member/benefit]
- household Size
- FPL
- Record Statuses and other attributes necessary for correctly qualifying and linking

2) Normalized DataStoreEntity

Minimum Output
Values from the following EntityTypes
- Person
- Address
- ContactInfo
- Eligibility result

3) Normalized DynamicEvidenceDataAttribute to report evidences

4) AuditTrail
Minimum Output
Key search criteria, such as name, ssn and id numbers. The new parsed table should carry or link back to the audit trail table.

    Eloise,

Business need of Normalization of CreoleSnapshotData (Decisions Summary, Income, Financial Tab):
    1. Customer has asked to report eligibility dates, FPL, income, magiIncome and household size, income percentage from this creolesnapshot data, this is for all historic and current determinations. Most of reports are using pre renewals and post renewals eligibility data which we have to pull it from this source.
    2. It takes 3 times longer to craft report SQL .
    3. Developers need additional expertise and to understand know display rules work and how to traverse xml. Such skill especiually lack on customer side.
    4. DB servers CPU usage is high and performance is low. It takes 8-20 hours to execute report.
    5. It's hard/impossible to import XML data into datamarts.

    CreoleCaseDetermiantionDataID
    Determinationdatetime
    Caseid
ConcernRoleID – ( have to derive from participantroleidlist, extendermemberid, benefitunitmembers or membernames
DecisionStartDate – against person (should match with casedecision screen)
DecisionEndDate – against person (should match with casedecision screen)
incomeFPL – against person if available otherwise case wise
MAGI Income – against person if available otherwise case wise
householdSize– against person if available otherwise case wise
incomepercentage – against person if available otherwise case wise
Income – against person if available otherwise case wise
Category – Person against which available category is eligible like Adult, PregnantWomen, Child …
    Max APTC
    BenchMark
    Cost Sharing Value

In order to do analysis and reporting of data captured by Curam the data usually has to be transported to various analytics platforms.

MSD needs to do analysis of Note text, IEG answers, IEG process (how long did a user spend on a particular IEG page, where in the IEG script did they stop).

Curam XML formats are not well documented and are difficult to extract data from by external platforms.
    This results in:
    * extra effort being spent to reverse engineer formats
    * extra development effort to develop code that extract data from Curam proprietary XML formats.
    * extra maintenance required for the above code

    Hi Sigitas,

In order to evaluate your request we require that you provide more detail on the business justification.
We would like to better understand how much time is typically spent going through existing data structures?
How would you suggest this data could be shown to be more usable?
Any detail you can provide would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you,
Eloise O'Riordan, Cúram SPM Offering Management team

The data warehouse and reporting teams at MSD in NZ are also very interested in having easy access to data for reporting purposes.
