  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Free-form text Subject field in Contact Logs

OOTB does not support a free-form-text Subject field for Contact Logs, which would allow users to enter headline/ subject information and then later be able to search against this field within the Contact Log's Search feature.

    Hi Michael,

    We are pleased to inform you that your enhancement request has been delivered in the new release of Merative Social Program Management, version 8.0.3 on 2nd Feb 2023.

    Contact logs have been enhanced so that caseworkers can now enter a contact subject when they record a contact in the contact log, in addition to entering other contact information. By entering a subject, caseworkers can provide more insight into what the contact is about. Caseworkers can also search both the new subject field and the existing narrative for specific text. The search returns contacts that contain any of the words that the caseworker entered. In the search results, the caseworker can easily see where the words were found, in the subject or the narrative, or in both.

    This feature makes it easier for caseworkers to locate contacts quickly especially if there are hundreds of contacts on a case.

    Hi Michael,

    We acknowledge that this enhancement request has been accepted for consideration. It may not be delivered within the release currently under development however the theme is aligned with our current multi-year strategy and will be considered for a future release.

    IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting.

    IBM will update this request in the future.

    Hi Team,

    Business is requesting to make contact log subject field and free form text so they can directly copy formatted text in to subject of contact logs. Also they are looking for an enhancement so make contact log subject as part of contact log search criteria.

    Also we would like to know what sort of information you would be seeking through your searches.
    If you could provide some examples and a business scenario that would be very useful to us.
