Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Ability to map the Application receipt date entered into IEG forms to the Evidence Received date

ESDC business team has indicated that when OAS GIS combined application is submitted and evidences are created then all the evidences should be created with received date = Application receipt date (entered on IEG). Curam mapping engine does not provide us with the ability to do so. ESDC uses received date for them to read/interpret when was the information received and in this instance it is when the application was received by ESDC i.e. Application receipt date which is the Date stamp on the paper form.

    We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion.

    Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:

    When an application is submitted and evidences are created then all the evidences should be created with received date set to the application receipt date as entered into the IEG form.

    Our offering currently provides a way to address this issue as there is a hook point available that can be used to meet the requirements locally. (As detailed in our response on 10th Feb 2023)

    Hi Nitish,

    There is a hook point available that can be used to meet your requirements locally.

    The approach you can use would be to implement the IntakeApplicationEvents.postMapDataToCuram() event/hook point (refer to: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/spm/8.0.2?topic=intake-customizing-application-workflow)

    This is called during the intake process immediately after the evidence has been mapped to the application case. In the implementation, loop over all of the evidence records on the case and adjust the received date appropriately.

    Would the use of this existing hook point meet your requirements?

    If not, could you provide details as to why?
