Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Time out warning in the worker portal

In one of 6.0.5 releases, a feature of the Citizen Portal was to display a time out modal if configured correctly, that prompts the user that their 'session' was about to end and they would be automatically logged out unless they dismissed the modal. On this modal (or pop up) they also had the option to log out if needed.
South Carolina DHHS would like the same functionality implemented for the case worker portal

    Hi Timothy,

We are happy to inform you that your enhancement request has been delivered in the new release of IBM Cúram Social Program Management, version 7.0.1.0.

The Session Timeout Warning feature has been extended to now apply to both the internal Caseworker and external Universal Access applications.

This feature warns the user when their current session is about to expire. This warning takes the form of a dialog which displays the time remaining before the session times out and buttons which allows the user to either continue with the session or quit the current session. If the session expires without any user interaction with the application, the user is redirected to a configurable page and a message is displayed on that page indicating this fact.

This feature is optional and it is enabled by default for both applications. There are a number of configuration options available for this feature.

For more information, see the Session Timeout Warning section in the Knowledge Center at: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS8S5A_7.0.1/com.ibm.curam.content.doc/WebClientReference/c_WEBCREF_sessiontimer.html

We hope that this addition to the product will meet your requirements sufficiently.

I will now close this ticket as delivered.

Thank you for your interest in the Cúram product.

Another situation where this would be very useful is Contact Logs. A worker can spend a long time entering a contact log (they can be lengthy) and then when they hit save they are told the session expired and they lose the full edit they were making. With IEG (because there is a save when you transition through pages) and you can resume the productivity loss is arguably less but as anyone who has lost a large edit because of e.g. a crash knows the larger the edit the more frustrating the loss :-)

    Hi Timothy,

Thank you for your enhancement request. We are currently analysing the requirement and will provide another update when that analysis is complete to confirm whether or not the enhancement will be considered in a future functional release.
