Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Semantics of the SaveOrExitMotivation.xml page player page are unclear

The customer has pointed out that the semantics of the SaveOrExitMotivation.xml page player page is unclear. The current wording does not make clear to the user that if they choose "Quit without saving your application" then the Application (Motivation) will be deleted.

Suggest new wording:
"Quit and delete your application". With explanatory text saying something along the lines of "Warning this option will remove your application, and you will not be able to return to this application again". Reviewed as part of enhancement backlog and still consider this to be valid. Adding pmr context:
In the citizen portal if you continue an existing application and then choose 'Save & Exit' you are presented with two options 'Save your information' and 'Quit without saving your information'. Choosing the latter will delete the entire application, not just the changes you made since last time you saved. That is, if you started an application, saved/exited, came back the next day and resumed then decided you didn't want to save any of your changes from today then too bad, either save your changes or the whole application is thrown away and you have to restart. This seems to be intentional, but is there help or documentation that make this clear to a user? Would it be better to change the text to 'Quit and Delete your Application'?

    Hi Kevin,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion.

We do not intend to incorporate your request into our product as it does not align with our product strategy. We are therefore closing this request and do not plan to take any further action.

The new IBM Cúram Universal Access provides a configurable citizen-facing application that enables agencies to offer a web self-service solution to their citizens. Introduced in Universal Access v7.0.3, you can choose to use the IBM Universal Access Responsive Web Application instead of the classic client application. The Universal Access Responsive Web Application uses modern technologies, such as React JavaScript, and the IBM Social Program Management Design System to enable citizens to better access services in a browser from desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. Although we cannot pursue all of the submitted suggestions, we are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your ideas.

    Regards,
Shane McFadden, SPM Offering Management team
