  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Enhancement to provide a Telephone number widget OOTB

OOTB telephone numbers are presented without any HTML mark-up. This enhancement is to provide a telephone number widget that will produce the HTML mark-up like below:
<a href=”tel:6425555555”>

The href attribute is to be prefix with tel: (or another configurable string value). A new domain definition may need to be introduced to store the country code, area code and phone number.

This will enable the system to open a default application (phone number dialer) associated with this prefix.

The widget should also support the following:
1. Standard UIM
2. Dynamic evidence
3. IEG
4. Context Panel
5. Configurable (enable/disable)

    There are multiple areas of the SPM application where the user encounters phone number fields. To understand your request in more detail, could you please specify where exactly in the application the telephone widget is required to be displayed.

    Hi there,
    We are requesting for a widget that adds 'tel:' to all phone and mobile numbers.
    On screen the phone number would be displayed as hypertext link.

    In order to evaluate your request, we require that you provide more detail on the functionality you require.
    Can you please confirm, are you requesting a widget or simply the ability to create a widget?
    If you require a widget, could you please attach a screen shot of an example widget similar to the one that you require so that we can understand exactly what you are looking for.
