Help Curam prioritize your ideas and requests

The Curam team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Increase OOTB Announcement Text and Comments Character Maximum Length

The current OOTB Announcement page "Text (200)" and "Comments (300)" fields character length is not enough for fulfilling the business purpose.

Business wants to display more information against "Text" field when it is shown on the global home page announcements pod. (Please refer "Announcement_Text.jpg" attachment). We want this text's maximum character length should be increased as long as it is shown on the announcements pod.

When user clicks on the announcement text link to see the more information, the information shown is not enough against "Comments" field. (Please refer "Announcement_Comments.jpg attachment). We want this "Comments" maximum character length should be increased to 2000.

      Hi Murthy,

      We understand how the proposed enhancement could be beneficial to you as part of a Cúram based solution. However, there is insufficient current and anticipated demand for this feature, therefore it will not be addressed in the foreseeable future, it is for this reason that we are rejecting your request.

      Your request may be resubmitted for consideration after 12 months from the date of decline.

      We require some further analysis to determine whether or not this enhancement can be considered in a future release.
