Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Plans for FLASH in Curam

Curams plan for Flash.

description and business impact
The client is requesting details on Curams plan for FLASH support in
the future.

We can see from the supported pre prerequisites on line that 20 and
future fix packs are the latest 6.2.x platforms.

Background: The client is requesting details of Curams plans for FLASH as its looking at rolling out a patch to all desktops to disable flash plugin.
This is likely triggered by the fact that Flash is becoming an outdated technology and has lots of known issues. Security is often a concern with flash.
With HTML5 getting adopted so widely, Flash is becoming redundant. In the short term disabling FLASH is temporarily on hold while they await feedback on the products plans

    Hi John,

The administration configuration editors will continue to be flex based. We have replaced or provided alternatives to the flex widgets in the caseworker application with the exception of the Citizen Context Viewer more-so for accessibility reasons e.g. in V6.2 we provided a new Outcome Plan workspace which is dojo based.

If you want a list of the flex widgets, send me an email and we'll provide it.

For now, I feel that this answers your question and so I''ll close off this ticket.

Thank you for your interest in the Cúram product.

Thank you for contacting the IBM Curam Social Program Management Request for Enhancement Community. We are currently evaluating your request, but initially I can confirm that it is our intention to continue to utilize and support Flash in the platform. The specific version to be supported is still undergoing evaluation.
