Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Curam 8.0 and above should provide support for AWS EKS

Case Management Information and Payrolling System (CMIPS) for the State of California has been running on Curam platform for more than a decade now.
CMIPS is a large and complex IT system supporting more than a million recipients, providers, system end users, and interface partners.

The State of California has a vision to run CMIPS on a modern platform to provide users an intuitive, simple, and reliable user experience; and an architecture to efficiently and quickly implement user- and regulatory-driven changes.

To realize this vision, CMIPS is in the process of migrating to and modernizing in the AWS Platform. Migrating Curam Case Management Online Application in AWS utilizing EKS is a part of this journey.

Merative has indicated that Curam supports IBM Cloud Kubernetes Services (IKS) and Red Hat OpenShift on AWS (ROSA) distributions of Kubernetes only. EKS is not officially supported.

CMIPS cannot consider utilizing the latest AWS containerization technologies unless Merative provides support for EKS for Curam version 8 and above.
Hence CMIPS Program is requesting Merative to provide support for AWS EKS for versions Curam 8.0 and above.

Customer Name Office of Systems Integration - State of California
Persona Based Summary

As a Curam SPM user supporting more than million providers, recipients and systems for the State of California through the CMIPS program we would want Merative to support AWS EKS on Curam 8 and above.
