Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests
The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Hi Sundar,
We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion.
Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:
Support for SPM V7 on EKS
The theme is aligned with our current multi-year strategy, our Cloud roadmap is evolving as can be seen from our plans to introduce support for Azure Containers on V8 later this year, having previously only supported IKS or Openshift containerization. Since introducing this cloud support in V7 for IKS and Openshift we have continued to enhance support for Containerization making considerable enhancements to both performance and security in v8. Before we can confirm support for any combination of 3rd party products with our software, we must assure ourselves that the combination of products does not impact our product's Non-Functional Requirements (NFR). This NFR testing is time-consuming and labor-intensive which is why all enhancements are deployed to future code branches and not back ported to previous software versions.
Our published prerequisites do not indicate that we support Amazon EKS and state that for V7 the supported container configurations we support are IKS or Openshift. While we acknowledge that you were able to use the deployment scripts in your POC this does not in any way confirm that this deployment to EKS is supported.
We are in the process of reviewing our Cloud roadmap alongside our wider technology roadmap and only when that review is complete would we be able to indicate whether we would be looking to introduce support for Amazon EKS on version 8 of our software.
Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your suggestions.
