Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Making a verification specific to clients eligible for certain program types

Existing verification configuraiton options are insufficient to meet our client's verification requirements. Requesting additional configurable option

Making a verification specific to clients eligible for certain program types (e.g. Streamline Medicaid). The existing customization path requires replication of eligibility rules in verData* rules - in order to only raise a verification for clients potentially eligible for Medicaid, the entire Medicaid ruleset must be replicated as a *verData rule set.

This is considered a must have.

    Hi Sigitas,

We have analyzed your enhancement request and believe it is currently supported without the need of replicating the entitlement ruleset in verification ruleset.
Verifications are evaluated when evidence is maintained; creation or modification (depending on configuration specified), which you mentioned. However verifications are also evaluated on the creation of a product delivery case, which you did not mention and which we believe supports this enhancement request.
Evaluating verifications on creation of a product delivery case allows for the system to determine if there are verifications for the product delivery on any common evidence within the Integrated Case. Within Insurance Affordability, the product delivery case is only created based on entitlement and therefore on creation of the product delivery it will evaluate verifications. This therefore allows for the separation of entitlement calculations from the verification conditions.

I will now close this ticket based on the above response.
Please contact us if there are other needs that we have not considered here.

    Thank you,
Eloise O'Riordan, Cúram SPM Offering Management team

The verificaiton engine is invoked when evidences are saved. Say we have a client who is on Insurance Assistance. The client reports that his new income is $10,000, and we make that evidence change on an Integrated Case.

In order for us to raise a verification appropriately (to know which conditional verificaiton rules to apply), we need to know what program the client will be eligible for - Insurance Assistance, Medical Assistance, or SBHP.

In order to figure that out, we pretty much have to replicate the entire eligibility rule sets for these programs in the conditional verification rules using *verData rules such that In Edit rather than only Active evidences are used in the eligibility determination. This greatly increases maintenance costs.
