Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

A Description Box is Required for each SDM Child Strengths and Needs Question

Currently, when completing a SDM Child Strength and Needs Assessment in a Ongoing case there is only one comment box to enter a rational for each of the questions.
It is a Business requirement that each Child Strengths and Needs question requires its own separate description box.

    Hi Amber,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion. Based on the information provided, as well as the results of a follow-up discussion that occurred with representatives from the Saskatchewan team, our understanding of your request is as follows:

When completing the Child Strengths and Needs Structured Decision Making (SDM) assessment, it is important that a caseworker document the rationale for the selected answers. The initial request suggested a new comment box for each question but further discussion determined that a single comment box that could accommodate 98,000 characters would also address the business need.

After further investigation, we have confirmed that users are already able to capture a large volume of information such as 98,000 characters in the Comments box that is displayed at the end of the list of assessment questions and is an appropriate location to document the caseworker’s rationale. We are closing this request and do not plan to take any further action. If you believe we have misunderstood your request please respond within 7 days with clarifications.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us.

    Regards,
Shane McFadden, SPM Offering Management team
