Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Curam Context specific filtering of codetables values

All the values of Codetables (e.g. contactprotocols, communications)
are shown to all users. As the application is growing in functionality
and more departments are using the application, the number of values of
these specific Codetables is increasing. This leads to long lists for
the users and a lot of values are shown which are not important for
this user. The user has to find the value he/she wants out of a long
list. The usability of the application gets worse. A possible solution
would be to make the codetables hierarchical, but this is not wanted
because the user has to perform more clicks to find the correct one. A
solution would be to expand the codetable with a semantic value/field
by which the application can filter the values of a codetable and only
show the filtered ones, e.g. each department gets a code and each
codetable item gets one code. On UIM-level the wanted filter has to be
programmed by the application developer, e.g. only the codetable items
of the department the user belongs to are shown.
For the current development project this feature has a high urgency.
Without this feature the usablity is worsened or a client specific
solution has to be programmed which is very difficult and goes against
Curam OOTB.

We had already an PMR open to this (years before) ePMR-Nummer: 41346.021.724 and we got this number: SPMP-11741.

    Hi Manuela,

We implemented an enhancement in Cúram Social Program Management 7.0.2 that we believe will address your needs.

The application context and code table views enhancement enables developers to efficiently reuse code tables. UIM pages that are used to develop one solution can be reused in another solution where only the code table content changes on those pages based on the specified application context. Application context is the additional parameter that can be specified and configured at the user application level, and used by infrastructure. Code tables can then be filtered by creating views within those code tables and associating them with the required application context.

Please let us know if this will meet your requirements.

    Thank you,
Eloise O'Riordan, Cúram SPM Offering Management team

Hi, I got the mail from IBM with this Content: "We request you update the request (link provided below) with the necessary information in a comment and/or attachment within 30 calendar days. ". But I can't find what I should update? The last comment is from IBM June 2017, that IBM will investigate this request. What shall I do?

    Hi Manuela,

Thank you for your enhancement request.
We require some further analysis to determine whether or not this enhancement can be considered in a future release.
I will provide another response when our investigation is complete.

    Thank you,
