Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Need of additional Extension Mapping Handler

OOTB curam.workspaceservices.mapping.impl.ExtensionMappingHandler provides interface for extension mapping for several entities
and child entities using extension handler mechanism which were not possible through data mapping engine. Here the few listed provided by OOTB:

1) HouseholdInformationMappingExtension--Mapping extension for HouseholdInformation entity
2) AbsentParentExtensionHandler-- Mapping extension for AbsentParent entity
3) PersonExtensionHandler--Mapping extension for Person entity

However, ExtensionMappingHandler class is defined with AccessLevelType.INTERNAL due to which customer can not create custom extension mapping handler class for other entities.

    Hi Maribeth,

We suggest that you look at IntakeApplicationEvents. These APIs allow you to update the datastore so that it is more amenable to mapping. It's an approach we also follow OOTB.

Please evaluate this new information and let me know if it is sufficient for you to achieve your business requirements?

    Thank you,
Shane McFadden, Cúram SPM Product Management team
