Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests
The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Hi Vinod,
We are pleased to inform you that your enhancement request has been delivered in the new release of IBM Social Program Management, version 8.0.0.
You requested an enhancement to improve the performance of CER reassessment processing and included suggestions related to the optimization of SQL calls. Based on an analysis of CER reassessment processing along with close collaboration with individuals from the project, evidence descriptor caching for static evidence and suppression of reads from tables not required for reassessment, were identified as the highest value to improve reassessment performance and are delivered in Version 8.
For more information about this new capability, see the following section in the What's New Guide: Optimizations for Cúram Express Rules (CER) reassessment
Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are now closing this request as delivered.
Regards,
Shane McFadden, SPM Offering Management team

Hi Vinod,
Thanks for your comment regarding the status of this RFE and its importance.
I have followed up and learned that this RFE is being discussed in other regular communication channels so I cannot give specifics here as to when it may be delivered.
Thank you.

What is the status of the RFE? Due to COVID - 19 situation we are getting more and more applications for benefits and our system is under a lot of stress lately. We are doing everything we can locally to relieve the stress on our database but this enhancement is expected to give us a lot of improvement in terms of performance. So we would really appreciate work related to this RFE is given priority

Attached is the reassessment times on a sample set of cases. Our cover period frequency has a monthly pattern. This mean each month is seen as pay period.
From the attachment it appears that there are two major factors that are resulting in slow reassessments.
1. Number of evidences
2. Number of past pay periods i.e. number of months between the case start date and the latest cover period to on ILI
Please let me know if any additional information is required.

Hi Vinod,
Thank you for the extra information provided.
It would help us if the extra figures and stats could be provided such as:
1. Some stats around the reassessments and the time it is taking.
2. The difference in the cases and case types between those which are performing and which are not.
3. The makeup of those cases which are not performing with regards to the volume and type of evidence contained in those cases.
This will enable us to produce a test case to try and mimic the customer experience and then proceed to perform technical analysis to see if there is a product enhancement/issue in this area.
Thank you,
Shane McFadden, Cúram SPM Product Management team
In the Use Case where it says "Reassessment performance is impacted for cases that have a long duration..."
Does the customer have some figures around this? How long are these reassessments taking?
Some reassessments take longer than 4 minutes. We will try to get you some figures and stats around it soon
What is the difference between some cases which are performing OK and those who are not?
When reassessment of single case takes longer than 4 mintues then certain actions on such a case cannot even be performed on the screen like manual reassessments since the transaction times out. Our transaction time out is 4 mintues
Are there specific types of cases that are problematic? Do these cases contain specific types of evidence types or evidence change patterns (much end dating, many changes, many successions, etc.)?
Most of these cases have a number of evidence of the same type, multiple household members, lots of changes etc...
We will provide more information soon by digging deeper into a few sample cases
Hi Vinod,
We met to discuss this enhancement request and in order to further evaluate, we require that you provide more details to help us proceed with making a decision.
