Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Writer clicked on the investigation case and status/investigator section was hidden and further down in context panel

Issue: Writer simply clicked on the investigation case and the status/investigator section was hidden and further down in the context panel. See screen shots. Hitting refresh within CICIO did NOT resolve this issue. IE zoom set to 125%.

Steps to reproduce: Login as Joe.Hussein. Go to any investigation. Open the short cuts panel. Make sure your zoom is at 125%. Notice that the info in the context panel gets cut off and now requires a scroll to see it.

Additional info: Writer had colleague login as Joe Hussein on her computer and she had the same issue occur.

*These issues were observed by this writer when a) the shortcuts panel is open and b) the zoom is set to 125%. Writer had peers test on their computers to ensure some Windows 10 and/or IE setting was not the cause but they received the same issues.

When zoom is set at 125%, a scroll bar may appear in the context panel based on the user's monitor display size. See attachment 6898.

Please note this will also occur with 100% zoom if the browser's width is made sufficiently narrow.

    Hi Michael,

It is expected behaviour for a scroll bar to be necessary when zoom functionality is used.
Can you please clarify what issue you have with the scroll bar exactly. Is it because the user has to use the vertical scrollbar to scroll down to see the status/investigator section instead of expecting to use the horizontal scroll bar to scroll to the right?

    Thank you,
Eloise O'Riordan, Cúram SPM Offering Management team

    Yes, this is right.
As per discussion at defect triage, scroll bars in the context panel have been addressed when the browser zoom is set to 100%. Other zoom settings need to be handled through this RFE.
