Hi Maribeth,
We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion. Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:
The verification waivers that are created in HCR for Income, SSN, and Citizen Status are never required nor desired and you need a mechanism to compliantly remove these.
The theme is aligned with our current multi-year strategy for our product and we have accepted your suggestion as a consideration for a future release. Not all items under consideration will make it into a release. As plans are confirmed, you will be notified when a specific release includes this enhancement.
Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your suggestions.
Regards,
Shane McFadden, SPM Offering Management team

Hi Shane,
From what I can piece together, the State of Missouri created a custom implementation of Reasonable Opportunity before it was available OOTB. In their implementation, verification waivers for the evidence types Income, SSN, and Citizen Status were never required nor were they desired. Therefore, the creation of these verification waivers had to be stopped. Our goal with this RFE is to find a way to stop the system from creating verification waivers for these evidence types compliantly rather than by modifying decompiled OOTB.
Best regards,
Jason
Hi John,
Thanks for the extra information you provided.
We would like to get some clarification on the business problem to be addressed here. Verification waivers are used by HCR as part of its reasonable opportunity/inconsistency period functionality to allow benefits to be delivered during the inconsistency period. You can find details about how the functionality works in the Knowledge Center at: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS8S5A_7.0.10/com.ibm.curam.content.doc/HCR/c_HCR_ReasonableOpportunityInconsistencyPeriod.html
As described in the Knowledge Center, if verification is not provided for the SSN, Income and Citizenship evidence during the application, when the application is authorized and the Integrated Case is created, the verification waivers are created in order to allow the evidence to be activated and benefits to be delivered. If no verification waivers are created, then the benefits cannot be delivered during the reasonable opportunity/inconsistency period.
Are you using the reasonable opportunity/inconsistency period functionality provided in the product?
Can you provide further information related to why you do not want the verification waivers to be created?
You previously clarified that your requirement is to never create verification waivers for INCOME, SSN, and CITIZENSHIP under any circumstances. Does this include that you do not want the verification waivers to be created when the application is authorized and the Integrated Case is created (if the evidence is not verified in the application), as well as when evidence is modified in the Integrated case as per your use case? Or just when evidence is modified in the Integrated case as per your use case?
Thank you,
Shane McFadden, Cúram SPM Product Management team
