Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Requesting Curam SPM support for "Dragon Naturally Speaking"

Some of our caseworkers make extensive use of Dragon Naturally Speaking software for dictation.
In order to meet their accommodation needs SAMS, our Curam based application, needs to support Dragon.

We request Curam SPM to support Dragon Naturally speaking

We have identified a few issues when we were testing Dragon with SPM V7.0.4.

1. In the application the “Click Home” button does not function through speech/Dragon. In some cases, “Click Home”, opens new tab instead in the browser of going to Home within application. Do you encounter this with Dragon used similar apps?Is there a way to get teach or configure Dragon to handle it better or would you suggest a change to the application (if possible)
2. When trying to use “Click Create Evidence” command on the evidence page, unless the mouse is hovered on top of the item on the page, Dragon will not pick up the command. Unable to navigate to “Create Evidence” until it is highlighted with a "plus" sign.
3. Combo Box functions do not work through speech, this make it impossible to click check boxes on each page
4. Pagination Page Links (pages number 1,2,3 etc) does not function through speech the the user is unable to navigate by the page numbers and have to use next page. Technically users are able to click on next page via speech and get around this issue so there is kind of work around that can be frustrating.
5. Drop down values navigation does not work well with dragon. When command 'move down' is used user does not know which item to focus on which makes it difficult to navigate through the list
6. On the notifications page dragon is unable to select check boxes using speech recognition

    We have evaluated your request and have determined that it cannot be implemented at this time as it is not consistent with our current investment strategy and roadmap.

    Your request may be resubmitted for consideration after 12 months from the date of decline.
