Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Support for CMIS1.1 within SPM for CMIS Integration...

One of our clients are using a CMS solution for integrating SPM with Doc and Records Management. Currently, the CMS solution team has confirmed that they will not certify Content Server against CMIS 1.0. The client will therefore require Cúram to upgrade the application to support CMIS 1.1 for supporting the integration with CMS solution as SPM currently uses CMIS1.0 supported infrastructure only in the platform for integration purposes.

This is a formal request to Cúram SPM for supporting the CMIS 1.1 standard in the platform for all CMIS integration. For this specific element and enhancement request expectation is that there will be no functional changes in the behaviour of Cúram SPM application in terms of integrating with any Doc and Records Management solution supporting CMIS protocols. It is to make sure that version compatibility is maintained to make the integration work.

This is a bit of urgent request for product to enhance the same so that clients are not delayed in making the decision around using CMIS for integrating with chosen CMS solution. Please let us know if there needs to be any additional info needed for this purpose.

Customer Name ESDC
Market Segment WH Government
Type of Request Idea
Market Opportunity

Adding the support for CMIS1.1 will increase product's capability to evolve in terms of supported protocols increasing capabilities and providing better alignment to keep up to the future as more and more CMS solutions migrate to that protocol and beyond. This may be a concern for other clients who are on latest version of CMS solutions with updated CMIS versions as well.

CURAM:Workarounds + Proposed Solution

There are no current work-arounds available unless support for CMIS1.1 is provided by the product, without which the architecture for integrating with CMS solution will have to be revisited resulting in increased complexity and technical debt for clients.

    Hi Shankar,

We are pleased to inform you that your enhancement request has been partially delivered in the new release of Merative Social Program Management, version 8.0.3.0

The following highlights the related improvement in the SPM V8.0.3 release; Apache Chemistry has been updated from 0.7.0 to 0.9.0. This is a foundational change required before introducing support for CMIS1.1 standard, which is still on our roadmap for a future release.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We will keep this request open as planned for a future release and inform you when more changes are delivered in SPM.

    Thank you,

    SPM Product Management Team
