Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Automated workflow starting with Application Submission and ending with Client getting paid with no human intervention (most cases) or minimal human intervention (remaining cases)

For our social assistance system, more than 50% of the applications are for existing clients, some are duplicates, and the remaining for new clients. The journey for application submission to checking whether client is existing or new and then merging/end-dating/creating evidences is tedious/time consuming with 20-30 different type of evidences being used. In order to alleviate the workload of our users, we have created a custom module that attempts to automate as much parts of the application as possible. The end goal being 0 human intervention effort for many applications and minimal effort in scenarios where system is unable to figure out the client or evidence mapping reliably. We have reached a point where with 2 or 3 wizards (depending upon whether client was previously on assistance or not), we are able to get close to the goal of paying clients. Using a build-learn-build model, we hope to further automate and reduce the turn around time for the applications. Based on our discussions internally, we feel that this kind of an automation module could be great addition for Curam. It should be fully configurable to allow for custom business processes that each Curam implementation may need. Please check the high level flow diagram for what we are looking at.

    Hi Rahul,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion. Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:
    • You are requesting enhancements to application for benefit processing that will improve the caseworker experience through a reduction in the time required for the completion of manual tasks, such as client matching.

The theme is aligned with our current strategy for our product to continue investigating improvements to application for benefit workflow processes including client search and we have accepted your suggestion as a consideration for a future release.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your suggestions.

    Thank you,
Sheryl Brenton, SPM Product Management team
