  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

AODA: Heading tag is empty, does not conform with best practices WCAG 2.0 Guideline 4.1.2 Level A

Description:
Heading level tag is empty
If there's an empty heading, a screen reader will alert the user that a heading is present, but it will not read out any text because there is none available to read.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. login as case worker

  2. navigate to calendar section

  3. notice the heading level h1 tag is empty


The suggested fixes are:

  1. Element has a text that is visible to screen readers.

  2. Aria-label attribute is present.

  3. Element has a title attribute.

Note: Does not conform to best practice, however, could potentially fail the WCAG 4.1.2: Name, Role and Value (A) success criteria

    Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:

    • That there are empty Heading level tags

    We have determined this is a defect that requires a code change to correct and request that you raise a support ticket documenting the issue, this will then enable you to track the progress of this issue, we are now closing this enhancement request.
