Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Add option for new Participant record address or bank account (person, representative, other) to propagate to Nominee record automatically

If a Person or Representative is also a Nominee, and they have a Address or Bank Account in evidence which is in use for payment delivery on the nominee record, the participant data and nominee record should have an option to be linked and kept in sync.

At present, if the address or bank account on the participant is end dated and a new one is added, the nominee continues to use the old, end dated evidence. A user must, as a second step, navigate to every case where the participant is a nominee and update the nominee record on the PDC to point to the newly added evidence. Editing the existing evidence propagates automatically, but end-dating and adding new has no effect and can result in errors when financials are run if the Nominee is not updated.

Suggest adding some functionality to allow automatic propagation of a new bank account or address to nominee records. Perhaps this could leverage the "primary" or "preferred" indicator to control propagation, or add a new screen at the end of the add new evidence wizard to indicate which PDCs for which the participant is a nominee the new evidence should propagate to.

Customer Name Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)
Persona Based Summary

As a case worker, when I end date the address for a given person and add a new address, I want the system to automatically start using the new address and stop using the end dated address for payment deliveries (on PDCs where I am a Nominee).

Same story for bank accounts.

Market Segment Eligibility & Entitlement
Type of Request Customer Requirement
Market Opportunity

This is an issue which is currently being worked around on ESDC by instructing users to edit evidence instead of end dating and adding new, which compromises the logical evidence trail.

Usage frequency + #/type of users impacted

Daily by ~5000 users.

CURAM:Workarounds + Proposed Solution

Users have been instructed to edit bank account evidence instead of end dating and adding new. For addresses, there was no workaround which would suffice (due to client requirements around address management) and users are having to perform two (or more) steps each time a new address is added: Add the new evidence, then look up each PDC where the client is a nominee and point the nominee record to the new address.
