Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Income threshold and FPL calculations should use rate tables instead of using ERA

Income threshold and FPL calculations need to use rate tables instead of using ERA.
PMR 67294,379,000 is for configuring tax filing threshold values in rate tables. HCR currently uses ERA for manitaning tax filing thresholds and FPL thresholds. All of these have to be moved to use Rate Tables, rather than just the tax filing threshold.

Current Version: 6.0.5.3 iFix7

Problem title:
IRS Tax Filing Thresholds should be in Rate Tables

Problem description:
Per ACA regs, in order to determine if certain household members income should be counted in the household income for Streamline Medicaid, these members income should be above the threshold to file taxes.
Currently, the thresholds used in the eligibility rules are based on the 2012 tax filing thresholds only.

The IRS publishes new thresholds every year so the values used in the eligibility rules should be stored in a rate table to account for the new values being released each year. The 2013 rates have already been published and currently, the product does not account for this.

Business impact:
Income will be counted incorrectly for some members resulting in incorrect eligibility for the household

    Hi Abirami,

We are happy to inform you that your enhancement request has been delivered in the new release of IBM Cúram Social Program Management, version 7.0.2.0.

To enable simplified configuration, the tax filing threshold rates for dependents are now stored in rate tables. Two new rate tables are provided:
    • CER tax filing thresholds for dependents
    • CER tax filing thresholds for dependents rate table for gross income

For more information on this, see the Knowledge Center at: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS8S5A_7.0.2/com.ibm.curam.content.doc/whats_new/spm_702_whatsnew_sols.html

We hope that this addition to the product will meet your requirements sufficiently.

I will now close this ticket as delivered.

Thank you for your interest in the Cúram product.
