Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Event on Coverage Category Change in Medical Assistance

In Cúram Income Support for Medical Assistance (HCR), clients eligible for Streamlined Medicaid may be eligible under a variety of coverage categories including Infant, an Auto (Deemed) Newborn, Pregnant Woman, etc. When a client transitions out of a given coverage category, the system must take actions that may include:
• Notifying the client of a change in coverage category
• Interfacing information to external systems such as MMIS
• Triggering other processes in Cúram

We are requesting functionality to be available:
• A configurable number of days prior to a transition from one coverage category to another in Medical Assistance
• The configuration must be available for each coverage category (e.g. I may want a system action 30 days prior to a Pregnant Woman's coverage category ending, but 90 days prior to a Deemed Newborn's category ending)
• The ability to execute custom processes at the time the date is reached
• A configuration option that can be set to either trigger a reassessment at the time the date is reached, or not

    Hi Nikita,

We have evaluated your request and have determined that it cannot be implemented at this time .

Your request may be resubmitted for consideration after 12 months from the date of decline.

Thank you for your interest in the Cúram SPM product.

I agree that workflows, milestones, events etc. could be configured to achieve this. However, the same could be said for most system processes, but OOTB Curam does provide implementations of certain processes such as ROP, straight through authorization for applications, and verification deadline processing using workflows, milestones, events etc.

If the product team recommendation to achieve the business requirements is through the use of workflows/milestones/events, our request would be to have this available OOTB as it is for other processes.

The Curam infrastructure, specifically workflow, milestones and events can be configured to support this functionality. Is there something about this that is not supported through configuration?

    Hi Nikita,

Thank you for your enhancement request.
We require some further analysis to determine whether or not this enhancement can be considered in a future release.
I will provide another response when our investigation is complete.

    Thank you,
Eloise O'Riordan, Cúram SPM Offering Management team
