Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

    Hi Sandeep,

We understand how the proposed enhancement could be beneficial to you as part of a Cúram based solution, however it cannot be addressed in the foreseeable future.
It is for this reason that we are rejecting your request.

Your request may be resubmitted for consideration after 12 months from the date of decline.

Thank you for your interest in the Cúram product.

    Hi Eloise,

Please find these couple of PMR/RFE related to performance issue around Dynamic Evidence reads,
Oracle DB version used in production is Oracle database version 11g R2.

PMR 05957: Performance of 'PDC - List Dynamic Evidence' screen is poor
RFE-87919 - Cannot retrieve evidence of a specific type for the current period (due to Dynamic Evidence data read timeout)

    Thanks,
    Sandeep Burman

    Hi Eloise,

    Please see the answers below:

    1. Specifically, we need clarification around what you described as the "reporting and analysis of using Dynamic Evidence data". Why not hit a data warehouse instead of the Cúram (i.e. OLTP) database?
ANSWER: We wanted to use this new Oracle In-memory feature for better performance of the transactions, using this feature the data reads will be faster for some of the Non-Performing Curam tables that are causing issues in application e.g. DynamicEvidenceDataAttribute, Dependency Manager related tables, Workload management tables etc. Please note we are not referring to the Data warehouse reporting here.

    2. And is it done through our BIRT solution or through a non-Cúram / custom built solution?
ANSWER: No we are not using BIRT solution or non-Cúram / custom built solution. But this is to support/improve the Curam Application performance.

Furthermore we wanted our UAT/TEST environment along with the Production to make use of this feature to performance well.

    Regards,
    Sandeep
