Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Ability to customise Curam "shortcut icon" SPM_UI_Mod_Placeholderlogo.ico

Can IBM please provide a supported mechanism for compliantly modifying the default Curam "shortcut icon" file SPM_UI_Mod_Placeholderlogo.ico

The "shortcut icon" in Curam is set to the file:
CuramCDEJ\lib\curam\web\themes\curam\images\SPM_UI_Mod_Placeholderlogo.ico

It is not configurable and cannot be overwritten via a custom component.

This is a "blank" icon file and is confusing to users in certain situations. We would like to replace this blank icon file with a meaningful icon.

    Hi Peter,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion and have determined that youcan perform this customization right now in the product if you follow the specified steps below:

    1. The full path to the image being customized in the SPM deliverable is as follows:

    - ./Development/CuramCDEJ/lib/curam/web/themes/curam/images/SPM_UI_Mod_Placeholderlogo.ico

    2. The customized image should be placed into the following directory in the customers "custom" directory or equivalent:

    - ../Development/webclient/components/custom/WebContent/themes/curam/images/SPM_UI_Mod_Placeholderlogo.ico

Note: The directory structure where the customized image is placed inside the "custom" component must reflect that of the SPM deliverable for the overriding mechanism to function correctly:

    - /WebContent/themes/curam/images/

    3. Once the image has been placed in the correct directory:

    - Perform appropriate builds.
    - Launch the SPM application.
    - The new image should be displayed.

Please let us know if the provided steps are sufficient to meet your requirement within 30 days so we may proceed with our evaluation. If we do not hear from you within that timeframe we will have to close the request due to insufficient information.

    Thank you,
Shane McFadden, SPM Offering Management team
