Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Introduce PDC Suspension at the Nominee and/or Component level

Currently, we can suspend payments at the PDC level. We have received the following requirements from the Client:

1. Payments are being made to a single Nominee on a PDC, via two separate components. These are for support with daily living, and mobility. An issue has arisen which means that the organisation needs to investigate whether the mobility component is still applicable. They want to suspend this component only whilst they investigate.

2. Payments are being made to separate Nominees on a PDC. These are daily living component to the client, and the mobility component to a third party provider who supplies a vehicle. An issue has arisen which means that the organisation needs to investigate whether the daily living component is still applicable. They want to suspend payments to this Nominee only whilst they investigate, and do not want to stop payments to the third party provider and cause them to initiate exception processing.

    Hi Jason,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion. Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:
    * For a case with multiple components, ability to suspend payments on a case at either a component or nominee level rather than suspending the full case payment.

We acknowledge the benefit of the proposed enhancement. However, this capability is not currently applicable across our client base and is therefore best addressed locally by the client to meet their specific needs. Our offering currently provides support in delivering this requirement locally; using the haltPaymentProcessing hookpoint that will check to see if an FC can be processed into an ILI, therefore putting the necessary logic to check for suspension into this could result in a nominee or component being suspended. To actually suspend a nominee could be done in a convenient way using evidence, for example.

We are closing this request and do not plan to take any further action. If you believe we have misunderstood your request please respond within 7 days with clarifications.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks Shane, that is really useful information, and I have passed it onto the project team. What additional information would be useful to you? I can then go and obtain this.

    Hi Jason,

In order to evaluate your request, we require that you provide more details so that we can fully understand your requirements.

We are currently evaluating this request and looking into how pervasive the need is across our customer base. In the meantime, we think this could be achieved compliantly by customers by using the haltPaymentProcessing hookpoint that will check to see if an FC can be processed into an ILI, therefore putting the necessary logic to check for suspension into this could result in a nominee or component being suspended. To actually suspend a nominee could be done in a convenient way using evidence, for example.
We are continuing to evaluate this enhancement but just want to understand if this payment hookpoint has been considered?

    Thank you,
Shane McFadden, Cúram SPM Product Management team
