Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Auto-Refresh Incoming Evidence after disposed

Currently the worker must manually refresh the Incoming Evidence workspace after disposing each item, to see an accurate list of the remaining items. The suggestion is to auto-refresh the workspace after evidence is disposed, to reflect the remaining Incoming Evidence and remove the item just disposed.

Thank you for the response, Shane. Your explanation makes sense in terms of the ease of use where the user is able to compare within the same workspace without having to navigate to the evidence itself to verify the update that was made. With that intent in mind, would I be correct in saying that this sounds like an enhancement that is unlikely to be pursued?

    Hi Kyle,

There is a reason why we don't automatically refresh the Incoming Evidence. We want to give the user visual feedback of the action they have just completed such as the new version added to the timeline of the existing evidence. This gives the user confidence that what they have done is correct for the case they are on. They don't need to navigate away from the Incoming Evidence list page to see how this evidence is now reflected on the current case. Otherwise with an automatic refresh, after they complete the action the evidence could be considered to just 'disappear' and if they have any questions as to whether it was actioned correctly, they will have to navigate away from this page to find out.
After the 'Add to Case' action has been completed the Actions menu for the Incoming Evidence is also disabled.

Please let us know if this intended behavior has been explained and your business requirement is satisfied.

If we do not receive this information within 30 days, this request will be closed.

    Thank you,
Shane McFadden, Cúram SPM Product Management team

    Hi Kyle,

Thank you for your enhancement request.
We require some further analysis to determine whether or not this enhancement can be considered in a future release.
I will provide another response when our investigation is complete.
