Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Disable concurrent login session for SSNet users

Hi team,

This PMR is raised as a follow-up action item, after meeting the IBM (Sandeep Makhijani <sandeepm@sg.ibm.com>, Marc Zimmermann <mzimmermann@de.ibm.com>, Nick Raponi <nick.raponi@uk.ibm.com> and MSF team.

Issue: Curam 7.0.2 allows concurrent login session for SSNet users, where a user can login into application at the same time via multiple browsers, which is against the MSF business policy.

After discussion with the IBM team, raising this PMR, to take this as Enhancement request.

During the meeting, current ADFS workflow was asked for, which I have attached as an image. We have also taken support from IBM team for ADFS implementation via PMR - TS004542455.

Customer Name Ministry of Social and Family Development, Singapore
Persona Based Summary

As a SSOCASEWORKER, I want to be able to login to Curam application, from single user login. Currently, application allows me to login to system concurrently, from multiple browsers, which is against the government policy of concurrent login sessions, which needs to be enhanced.

Market Segment Eligibility & Entitlement
Type of Request Customer Requirement
Market Opportunity

This requirement arises due to government audit, where according to the policy, concurrent login sessions are not allowed.

Usage frequency + #/type of users impacted

This solution would be used every time, there is a user login to the application.

CURAM:Workarounds + Proposed Solution

There is no workaround currently, and users are able to do concurrent login to application.

    Hi Shantanu,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion.

Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:

Limit a user to one concurrent session in SPM.

We have found that most of our customers use third-party authentication solutions that can handle this requirement, so we do not intend to incorporate this capability into our product.

We are therefore closing this request and do not plan to take any further action.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. Although we cannot pursue all of the submitted suggestions, we are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your ideas.

    Regards,
Sheryl Brenton, SPM Product Management Team
