Shape the future of Curam!

We invite you to shape the future of Curam, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Curam team to refine your idea

Help Curam prioritize your ideas and requests

The Curam team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Hiding duplicates: ability to toggle the display of duplicates

When the Person Search page is used to search for a person, by default the search results are presented with all person records meeting the search criteria including those marked as duplicates. This can make the screen cluttered and not easier to work especially when multiple person records are returned.

The proposal is to add a new checkbox to Hide Duplicates (like Show Nick Names, Show Sounds Like Names) and when this checkbox is selected, no duplicates are returned. That way it would have improved user experience for case workers, allowing them to navigate to the correct record quickly and easily.

Customer Name Scottish Government
Persona Based Summary

As a case worker, I want the ability to hide duplicates, when searching for a Person in Curam, so that I can get to the correct record quickly and easily.

Market Segment Health & Human Services
Type of Request Idea
Market Opportunity

Improved user experience for case workers, allowing them to quickly and easily hide duplicate records and navigate to the correct record.

Increased efficiency and productivity for case workers, reducing the time spent on navigating through duplicate records.

Enhanced data quality, as case worker can focus on the correct record and reduce the risk of updating incorrect information.

Reduced frustration and errors caused by navigating through multiple duplicate records.

CURAM:Workarounds + Proposed Solution

As a tactical solution, we have customised this ourselves and recommending this be added to product, so that we could remove our customisation.
