Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Improve Position Search screens to support large number of positions

ESDC has provided a 1:1 mapping between position and users. This also accounts for new units and positions that may be required as well as near future hiring. This is 25k positions.

As ESDC is undergoing an incremental onboarding of programs, due to a major org structure revision (for R2/R3 of OAS), the positions from R1 org structure remained in DB but cancelled. This is approximately 6k.

When searching through these positions, the screen times out.

PMR - 00010151

curam.core.admin.positionsearch.isenabled = true

Navigate to admin > My Organization > Org Structure > Position

Also, the respective Position Search Popup requires similar fix.

Recommended changes -

The page should not attempt to load all positions by default when the admin position search property is enabled.

Also, the screen should adhere to the max results config and display informational message if the search does not complete.

Customer Name ESDC
Persona Based Summary

As a administrator I must be able to locate the position and assign a user to this position.

Market Segment Eligibility & Entitlement
Type of Request Customer Requirement
Market Opportunity

The number of positions in the DB will always increase and hence the fix is required.

Usage frequency + #/type of users impacted

Project will fix internally.

The page will not attempt to load all positions by default when the admin position search property is enabled.

Also, the screen will adhere to the max results config and display informational message if the search does not complete.

    Hi Vishek,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion.

Based on the information provided, our understanding of your request is as follows:

    • change how positions in the organisation structure are presented on the UI to cater for the large volume of active positions setup in your agency

We acknowledge the benefit of your suggested enhancement however other enhancements are taking a priority in our planning currently. This could be addressed in your custom solution by setting Paginated to True for the page in question. This will change the presentation of positions on the UI to use a paginated list; the # of results is defaulted to 15 but that number can be customised.

Although we will not be addressing your request in the near term, your suggestion will be available for future consideration. This request will be closed, and we will not be taking any further action.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your suggestions.

    Regards,

Angela Brady, Cúram Product Management Team
