Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Provide CMIS Metadata at folder level

  • Version of Cúram the fix is being requested on8.0.2iFix3.

  • Detailed business impact of the issue in question - Business Impact - South Dakota Integrated eligibilty system is scheduled for production roll out on March 4, 2024. System is not able to go live w/o integration to South Dakota File Director application which is storing meta data at the folder level. The OOTB CMIS jars provided by Curam are storing meta data at the document level. So interface is not able to successfully create a document in file director system due to meta data being stored at folder level.

  • Is this a production issue? This is preventing system from going into production

  • Is this considered to be a regression issue? No

  • Is the fix available on a later version of the product? No

  • Does the project have a workaround for the issue? If so, details of the workaround should be provided- No known workaround

  • Why is an immediate solution required? - Project is not able to go live as scheduled w/o this feature.

  • Information regarding why the project cannot wait for this to be addressed in a fix pack or higher release - Please talk to Rodney, Mike Santiage and/or Gill Hulse from RedMane.

  • Project timelines

    • Development phase complete date:

    • User Acceptance Testing start and complete dates

    • System Testing start and complete dates

    • Production Roll-out date March 4, 2024

Operational Impact: There is an operational impact to the State of South Dakota Medicaid Department, as without this change users are not able to upload documents to the File Director instance, and not able to associate the documents to the cases. The State of South Dakota is risk averse, and we have now missed an important milestone of July 26, 2023 to have the development complete. This has raised a risk with the client regarding the ability of the project to successfully partner and implement the solution according to the planned schedule date.

    Hi Kelli,

We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion.

Based on the information provided and discussions with your team on the related support ticket, our understanding of your request is as follows:

    • You are requesting that the CMIS infrastructure provide support for storing Metadata at a folder level and for uploading files of type cmis:document, in support of integration with the File Director CMS.

We acknowledge the benefit of your suggested enhancement however other features are taking a priority in our planning currently. Given that you have also been able to meet your requirements locally using a compliant customization, this request will be closed and we will not be taking any further action. Although we will not be addressing this item in the near term, your suggestion will be available for future consideration.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. Although we cannot pursue all the submitted suggestions, we are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your ideas.

    Regards,

Sheryl Brenton, SPM Product Management Team
