Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea
Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests
The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Hi Sudheer,
Thank you for providing the additional information we requested.
For all but one of the notifications that you provided in your list (i.e. “Service Invoice Lite Item submitted for approval.”) these notifications are now no longer displayed in product since v8.0 as a result of the introduction of a new interface.
The interface can be used to suppress the creation of all notifications in a case of a specific case type. When the interface is implemented, no notifications will be generated for the specified case type.
The interface that can be used to exclude notifications from specific case types is called NotificationExcludedCaseType. It facilitates the listing of case types and product deliveries to be excluded when notifications are generated.
It was provided in 8.0 where we used it to provide an implementation in Provider Management to filter out Provider Management product deliveries including the Provider Invoice PD case that results in the creation of the notifications you provided.
Documentation is available in:

"Products" section in the Provider Management guide:

Further work was then done in 8.0.2 to optimize its use.

As related to your request for a configuration capability to turn-on or turn-off other OOTB notifications, the request is aligned with our current strategy for our product to continue to improve our task and notifications infrastructure and we have accepted your suggestion as a consideration for a future release.
Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We are committed to involving our users in building our product roadmap and appreciate your suggestion.
Thank you,
Sheryl Brenton, SPM Product Management Team
We would still prefer that these are a few examples of OOTB notifications that we would potentially want to turn-off. What might be even better is to provide us with a configuration capability to turn-on or turn-off other OOTB notifications and not just these. This would not just help us but any subsequent projects since the product will have the capability to turn the specific OOTB notifications on or off

Hi Sudheer,
We have reviewed your enhancement suggestion and we would like to request additional information to help us understand the business problem you are trying to address.
Can you provide further details as to which specific notifications you do not want to be generated as part for the SILI approval process.
Please provide the requested information within 30 days so we may proceed with our evaluation. If we do not hear from you within that timeframe, we will have to close the request due to insufficient information.
