Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the Curam team to refine your idea
Help Curam prioritize your ideas and requests
The Curam team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

This RFE is to look into having the location of the file size evaluation to occur at client instead of server. This causes a resource issue (memory usages) at the server.
File Size Validation - There are settings to limit the maximum size of a file that is allowed to be uploaded. The validations for these settings are carried out on the server side after the file is fully uploaded to a temporary directory. Therefore, it should be kept in mind that large files could be uploaded consuming a large amount of disk space. We recommend checking the file upload folder at intervals to ensure disk space usage meets requirements.
This is not acceptable for NC FAST to upload large files to App Server's temp directory and then check the size to send a validation message to the User if the file is bigger than the allowed size (NC FAST set this as 100 MB). If a user is uploading larger files than the max size, he needs to wait longer to see the validation message as the validation is triggered at the server side after the file is fully uploaded. We prefer having a client-side validation. Before the file is sent to the server, we want Cúram to validate the size through JavaScript
