Merative Ideas Portal

Shape the future of Merative!

We invite you to shape the future of Merative, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the Merative team to refine your idea

Help Merative prioritize your ideas and requests

The Merative team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at Merative works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at Merative, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Curam 404 status message confuses users and support staff as it does not reference 404 and talks about Curam license

The problem: 404 status page is confusing users into thinking that issue is related to Curam licensing.

How it's confusing:
When an end user navigates to a non-existant URL they land in on a page talking about licensing issue message instead of clearly stating that this is status page. Users then complain about licensing issues.
Technical support staff not always aware that it's simple http 404

How to reproduce it:
End Users are using the curam application with the URL: http://xxxxxxxx/Curam and any word append to the URL eg: http://xxxxxxxx/Curam/Other shows a status message as
"The page you have requested is not available. One possible cause for this is that you are not licensed for the necessary Cúram module. If that is the case, you can use the User Interface administration screens to remove these links" instead of 404 status message.

how we expect for it to be resolved :
It should be obvious that it's "404 not found" with 404 displayed prominently and the old text displayed as supplementary explanation in small font at the bottom

HCR customer 'State of Arkansas' has also reported this and this message does not look good especially when it pops up in Universal Access screens. On a lighter note somebody on customer team asked - "How much does the 'licence' would cost we may buy it! "
